  I do not doubt that this guy knows his stuff, that if he wants to, has the time, and the parts he can fix your camera for a good price correctly. However, communication is terrible. Never once received an update from him, always had to call myself for updates. When he finally told me what was wrong, he told me the part was on back order and might be a few weeks (ended being 6) but that my camera was all taken apart and that I couldn't have it back until he was done. Its my only camera but ok. Ended up he finally gets the part then "discovers" that its actually another part that is damaged and that I need to send to the manufacturer to repair. Seems a true expert could have known this all along, or at least been able to do some tests to rule that out. Offered my a couple hundred dollar trade in if I decided to go that route but ended up being able to see to someone else for 3x what he offered. Still not sure what was actually wrong with the camera but was out of a camera for 8 weeks...at least he only charged $20
